Capsule photographs your clothes, tags them automatically, and builds outfits from pieces you already own. If something isn't working, or the app did something you didn't expect, get in touch — a real person reads every message.
The app says it couldn't identify a clothing item. Capsule deliberately refuses a photo rather than inventing tags for it. Lay the item flat or hang it against a plain background, use bright even lighting, fill most of the frame, and photograph one item at a time.
I was told I hit a daily limit. There's a cap on how many items can be tagged and how many outfit requests can be made per day. It resets at midnight UTC. The limits exist so that running costs stay predictable while the app is free.
The tags on an item are wrong. Open the item in your closet and tap Edit tags. Category, formality, and season are pickers; color, material, and description are free text. Corrections take effect immediately and improve future outfit suggestions.
Capsule warned me about a duplicate. When you add a piece closely resembling something already in your closet, Capsule shows you both side by side before saving. You can keep both or remove the new one — it's information, not a restriction.
How do I delete my account? Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, every item, and every photo. It cannot be undone, and no copy is retained.
Where do my photos go? They're stored in your own account and are never shown to other users. Photos are sent to AI services for tagging only — the details are in the privacy policy.
